Cyclone Montha struck Andhra Pradesh on October 28, 2025, displacing over 38,000 people and devastating 43,000 hectares of crops. Thousands of families lost homes and livelihoods, leaving children, women, and the elderly in urgent need of food, water, and shelter. The Dalit Welfare Association (DWA), a grassroots non-profit in Kurnool, has launched an emergency mission in Nandyal District to deliver immediate relief and restore hope among the affected communities.
We are providing essential food kits, drinking water, clothing, blankets, hygiene supplies, and basic medical care to over 1,000 displaced individuals, prioritizing women, children, and the elderly. Our volunteers and local leaders coordinate with the district administration to ensure relief reaches remote and underserved villages. Every contribution directly supports survival needs and brings safety and dignity to families struggling in overcrowded shelters.
With your support, we aim to raise INR 17,82,500 (USD 20,487) to cover one month of emergency relief operations. Your donation can provide a complete relief kit to a family in crisis—food to eat, water to drink, and a blanket for warmth. Together, we can restore hope and rebuild lives for Andhra’s most vulnerable communities.
